Die Finesse

Solomon Farm is excited to welcome this fantastic Der Graf daughter to our broodmare herd! This 16.2 hand mare by Der Graf, out of Chateau Queen (Premium RPSI mare) is absolutely lovely in her conformation and type, sweet natured, and has a beautiful floating trot and reachy, balanced canter.

Die Finesse was Reserve Champion overall at her first two USDF Breeders Series shows, second only to the mature stallions. She finished the year as the high-scoring RPSI Mature Mare, though a USDF paperwork error (theirs, not mine!), has kept her from receiving her award.

Die Finesse is uncomplicated to ride and under saddle has proven to be the very best kind of young mare -- sensible and willing, absolutely calm in new situations, yet light and forward in her movement.

Finesse will continue her training in 2010, as well as begin her career as a broodmare. We're excited to begin making breeding plans for her this spring.

This lovely young mare comes from a line of exceptionally rideable and successful show horses -- Finesse's dam Chateau Queen was rated premium mare, and scored third in the country at her keuring in 2001. Finesse has inherited the power and elegance of her sire, as well as her dam's beauty and sweetness. Her genetics, along with her movement, beauty, size and temperament, make her an exceptional broodmare prospect.
