2011 Chocolate Palomino German Riding Pony filly

Big on movement, this petite and eye-catching German Riding Pony filly is by the German licensing champion Gold of Capri, and out of the exquisite black GRP mare Goodnight Moon, from our top hunter producing mare Nightshade, by the FEI dressage Trakehner stallion Meisterwind.

The elegant Gold of Capri was convincing at the 2008 licensing in Muenster-Handorf with his movement and very promising jumping. His sire, FS Golden Highlight, was 1999 Rheinischer licensing winner, 2000 Rheinischer Champion and Bundeschampion, and again the 2001 Bundeschampion and stallion test winner with a score of 8.78. In 2003 he was the international Supreme Champion Part-bred of the 14th International Welsh Show in Aachen. FS Golden Highlight has more than ten licensed sons and more than 12 St.Pr. mares. In sport he competed successfully in L-classes.

Gold of Capri's mother, St.Pr.St. Capri-Girl, produced another licensed full brother Go for Gold who successfully competed in young horse classes. In addition, Gold of Capri's half sisters Chica K and Highlight Donna (both by FS Champion de Luxe) were shown in the final round at the mare show in Muenster-Handorf. The grandfather Capri Moon had four licensed sons, one of them being Costolany, the grandfather of the most successful jumping pony stallion in Weser Ems 2007.

Capri Moon's son, Brantops Capri Sun, competed in the 2000 Bundeschampionat and in 2003 in the German Championship. Eleven Capri Moon daughters were awarded states premium. He also is the grandfather of the licensed sons Depardieu AT (by Don Joshi), Go for Gold (by FS Golden Highlight), PK Golden Moon Wind (by FS Golden Moonlight), Brantops Go for Gold (by Golden Highlight), Dorniks Donovan (by Dornik B) and V-Power G (by Valido's Boy). His offspring won 12.237 Euro in 2008. The grandmother, Mein Traum, was placed in L-classes 93 times and is the mother of Gondoliere (by FS Golden Highlight) who placed seventh at the Bundeschampionat of the five year old jumping ponies.

Good Morning Sun herself comes from a really excellent producing mareline for the US Hunter divisions - Good Night Moon's dam Nightshade has produced winners at Devon, Upperville, as well as the big hunter shows out in California. This typey and beautiful-moving pony filly is personable, outgoing and well started in her barn manners, farrier and leading skills. She will be some lucky child or petite adult rider's special competition partner

Good Morning Sun looks to mature around 14 - 14.1 hands -- her dam stands around 13.1 hands, and her sire 14.1 and 1/2, standing 16.3 hands. Sunny has an intriguing pedigree for this country, and shows big promise both as a competition pony and for breeding. She has uphil, floaty gaits, but we think you will fall in love with her unforgettable face and fabulous personality even more!

Good Morning Sun has German Riding Pony papers and brand from the Rheinland Pfalz-Saar International. She scored a Silver Premium at her Sept 10th, 2012 Inspection.
